ELIZABETH CRESEVEUR / URSULA KRAFT

Elizabeth Creseveur and Ursula Kraft met each other twenty years ago during an artists’ residency; since then, they have each followed the other’s work, out of which an active exchange has emerged between the two artists. One is French, the other German, and both today live in Paris. Independently of each other, both artists traveled to Japan, in order to realize projects there. In the artworks that resulted from this stay, one perceives a certain shared sensibility in the work of each artist; references that tie themselves to and reflect one another. An ideal starting point for a shared exhibition that puts their works in dialogue for the first time.
