The artist Hannes Steinert (*1954 in Stuttgart) lives and works in his hometown. The former student of Rudolf Schoofs at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart is known for his “wide-ranging creativity ,” which lightly and playfully moves between its primary route of abstraction and numerous byways into objectivity, such as landscape painting, still lifes, portraits and erotic motifs. The exhibition presents an overview of the artist’s work from his studies until today.
